As a photographer based in the South East of England that feels drawn to mountains, lakes and waterfalls I often find myself exploring parts of country that would remain unknown to me were it not for my love of landscape photography. After the research and planning there is a little magic to sliding open the door of the camper van before sunrise, the promise of a new day preparing to unfold, not knowing what will ultimately catch my eye. It feels adventurous. For me, photography is simply capturing moments in the story of being there.
